Mint M&M Brownie Cookie Ingredients

You'll find a printable recipe card at the bottom of this post but here's a peek at what you will need. These are simple ingredients you might already have on hand.
- 1 (18 oz) boxed brownie mix
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour (not pictured)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil (or melted butter for richer flavor)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–1¼ cups mint M&Ms (reserve a few for pressing on top before baking)
Tip: Using mint M&Ms is a fun way to create color. (Don't those M&Ms look great against that chocolate cookie?)
How to Make Mint M&M Brownie Cookies
These are truly one of the simplest (and tastiest) cookies you will ever bake. Trust me when I say the brownie mix is the perfect foundation!
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment or silicone mats.
In a bowl, combine the brownie mix, flour, eggs, oil, and vanilla.

Stir until a thick dough forms.

Fold in 1 cup of the mint M&Ms gently — you want pretty speckles of candy throughout but not over-mixed.

Use a cookie scoop (~1½ Tbsp) to drop dough onto the prepared sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
Press a few extra mint M&Ms onto the tops of the mounds for a festive look.
Bake 9–11 minutes — just until the edges are set and the tops look matte. They should be soft!

Cool 5 minutes on the sheet, then transfer to a rack to finish cooling.
Notes for Perfect Results
- These are soft, brownie-like cookies — not crackled crinkles — so take them out when they still look a little underdone on top. They’ll finish as they cool.
- If you like extra gooey pockets of mint, gently press a few more mint M&Ms into the tops right as they come out of the oven.
- You can do a mix of red/green and regular mint M&Ms for texture contrasts.

Serving + Styling Tips
- Sprinkle with sea salt right when they come out for a grown-up twist.
- Pair with hot cocoa or peppermint mocha for seasonal content photos.
- These make adorable cookie box gifts — stack them with parchment paper and tie with red twine.
What to Expect from these Cookies
If you love a rich, moist brownie, you're going to flip over these cookies! They're absolutely brownie-bite in texture. And those mint M&Ms? They're perfection. The way those minty flavors merge with the rich dark chocolate is absolutely divine. I'm so happy I made these, and not just for the holidays! They would be perfect any time of year!
