If you’re looking for the world’s quickest, tastiest cobbler, one that you can whip up in a hurry, this is the recipe for you! This delicious cup’a cobbler is so simple you’ll memorize the ingredients right away!

Pie Filling Cobbler?
I’ve already got a few cobbler recipes on this site—a few from scratch, one using a box of cake mix, and one that’s more of a crisp.
Today, however, I wanted to use up a can of strawberry pie filling before it was outdated. And when I stumbled across a viral video on Facebook of a woman making this cup’a cobbler, I knew I had my answer.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a link to the original video. If I can find it I will add it, but the recipe is pretty basic. Let’e start by looking at what you’ll need to make this delicious cobbler.
Cup’a Cobbler Ingredients

These are simple ingredients you probably already have in your pantry or fridge.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick (½ cup) butter, melted
- 1 can pie filling (or fruit with juice)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How to Make Cup’a Cobbler
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place stick of butter into 8x10-inch pan and melt in microwave for about 45 seconds. Stir well.

Add sugar.

Add flour.

Add milk.

Add vanilla extract.
Whisk together.

Spoon in pie filling or other canned fruit.

Lightly swirl but do not over mix.

Place in preheated oven and bake for 50 - 55 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove and place on wire rack.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Store leftovers in refrigerator in an airtight container. Cobbler will stay good for 3 - 4 days.
What to Expect from this Cobbler

It’s warm, it’s gooey, it’s crunchy, it’s sweet. . .it’s a delightful, simple cobbler. And I’m so glad I stumbled across that video because I love the idea of being able to whip up a fast dessert. I can’t wait to share this with my loved ones! It’s going to be perfect on a cold winter’s night.
Variations on this Recipe
I love to mix things up. Here are some things I might try next time:
- More flour. Next time I might go with a cup and a half to make this even heartier!
- Canned Peaches in juice: Instead of pie filling, using canned peaches would be great.
- Apple: I think apple cobbler would be great. I would probably add chopped pecans, as well.
- Blackberries. Would love to try this recipe with fresh or frozen blackberries. They’re my personal favorite!
- Cherry pie filling or maraschino cherries.
The possibilities are endless, my friends!
That’s it for this post, friends! I hope you enjoyed this delicious recipe.
