Turnover Ingredients
You will find a full printable recipe card at the bottom of this recipe but here’s a quick look at what you’ll need.
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 1 can pie filling (I used cherry)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 – 2 tablespoons water
Note: I made a half recipe, using only one can of crescent rolls and half of the can of pie filling.
How to Make Crescent Roll Turnovers
These come together so easily, y’all!
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Open one can of crescent rolls. Spoon some pie filling into the rolls.
Now place matching pieces on top. Stretch them out a bit with your fingers because the top layer needs to be slightly larger.
Crimp down the edges with the tines of a fork.
Cut a few air holes in the top crust using a sharp knife.
Place in preheated oven and bake for 13 – 14 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
Make glaze by combining powdered sugar and water. Stir until smooth.
Drizzle over the turnovers.
Serve and enjoy!
These are soft and tender on the outside and filled with delicious fruity flavor on the inside!
Store leftovers in airtight container at room temperature. They should stay good for 1 – 2 days. You can reheat in an air fryer or toaster oven.
That’s it for this post, friends! I hope you enjoyed this delicious turnovers recipe.
